About me

Hello, I’m Amey, a Master’s candidate at the University of Pennsylvania, specializing in Integrated Product Design. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from MIT World Peace University, Pune, India.
 

My passion for product design began during my undergraduate years while working on the Brakes and Wheel Assembly subsystem for my college’s FSAE team. This experience ignited my curiosity, driving me to delve deeper into product design by creating a range of hardware and software solutions. Through these projects, I realized the potential of design to address complex challenges facing humanity today—challenges that engineering alone cannot fully resolve. This realization motivated me to pursue design at Penn, where I believe innovation and creativity can make a meaningful impact.
 

Outside of design, I’m passionate about singing and cycling. On weekends, you’ll often find me exploring the streets of Philadelphia on my bike, singing my favorite Bollywood songs along the way.
